In these events, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), Wind and Water Power Program will outline in detail the vision it has developed to guide the United States in the creation of a world-leading offshore wind industry; focusing on ways in which the various interested sectors (i.e. academia, industry, state and local governments, the public at large) can harmonize their efforts to address barriers to deployment. The first will be held during the Great Lakes Wind Collaborative 3rd Annual Meeting on September 21, 9:30-11a.m., in Cleveland, OH.
